Women of the World – This is a Wake-Up Call! 🇮🇱

Na’amat, the largest women’s organization in Israel with international branches worldwide, is calling on its members, friends, partners, and supporters to speak up and to call upon their governments to help facilitate the release of Israel’s 230 hostages abducted on October 7th and now being held hostage in the Gaza Strip.

There are leaders who are playing a major role in the crisis, such as the Qatar government, and we need your help in demanding that these governments expedite the release of the women, men, children, babies and elderly who were savagely attacked and kidnapped by the terrorist organization Hamas on October 7th.

On that fateful morning, the people of Southern Israel were awakened to find themselves in the midst of a horrific nightmare. A barbaric and savage attack led by Hamas terrorists who crossed over from Gaza intentionally targeted innocent civilians, and more than fourteen hundred women, men and children – ages 9 months to 85 years old – were brutally attacked, murdered, raped and burned alive, and thousands more were shot, maimed and injured. Mothers were murdered shielding their babies and children, young adults at a local music festival were hunted down and slaughtered, elderly women and people with disabilities were not spared. The frenzied terrorists showed no mercy.

How do we know about those horrors? How do we know about the terrorists ripping the clothes off women hostages, spitting on them and sexually abusing them, of the pregnant woman who was stabbed and her fetus slaughtered, of the houses burned down with whole families inside? We know because the Hamas terrorists documented their brutal actions on their phones and cameras and published them with pride and glee. They wanted us to know.

No human being can look the other way and ignore the atrocities that were carried out by Hamas terrorists and its ISIS-like methods. This is not a fighting military force defending its country, nor was this a military response in battle – the atrocities had been planned years in advance and innocent civilians were purposefully targeted. What we have witnessed is evil for the sake of evil.

Women of the World – wake up, speak up, and call upon your leaders to spare no effort humanly possible and to help us bring the 230 hostages home. You mustn’t look away nor can you stay silent, for if you do, you will forever be haunted by your silence. Remaining silent is a victory for the Hamas, for terrorism and for evil wherever it rears its ugly head.

We urge you to please speak up and stand with the hostages. Help bring them home now.
